Warum ist die Größe der Kammern bei einer Gewichtsdecke relevant?

Je kleiner die Kammern einer Gewichts- bzw. Therapiedecke sind, um so besser werden die Glasperlen im Inneren der Decke über die Größe verteilt. So können sich die Glasperlen weniger im Inneren der Decke bewegen und verursachen weniger Geräusche in der Nacht. Die Größe der Kammer hat außerdem Einfluss darauf, wie das Gewicht der Decke wahrgenommen wird. So können bei Decken mit großen Kammern unangenehme Druckpunkte durch das höhere Gewicht pro Kammer entstehen.

Warum sind Knopflöcher & Schlaufen an einer Gewichtsdecke wichtig?

Die Anzahl der Schlaufen & Knopflöcher hat einen Einfluss auf den Komfort und die Handhabung der Decke. Je mehr Verknüpfungspunkte eine schwere Decke enthält, um so weniger hängt die Innendecke bei Körperbewegungen in der Nacht durch und kann so auch weniger im Bezug verrutschen. Wichtig ist auch die Art der Verknüpfungspunkte. Die Knopflöcher der LEVIA Innendecke werden direkt in der Decke vernäht und können so einfach mit den Schlaufen des Bezugs verknüpft werden. Durch die Verwendung von Knopflöchern wird außerdem das Risiko verringert, dass Schlaufen abreißen oder die Decke beschädigt wird.

Wie unterscheiden sich die Bezüge der LEVIA Gewichtsdecke?

Neben den Unterschieden in Design und Farbe, unterscheiden sich die LEVIA Bezüge vor allem in der Stoffart. So sind alle Bezüge aus 100% Baumwolle gewoben, aber die Webung ist jeweils eine andere. Je nach Außentemperatur kann durch die verschiedenen Stoffe die Temperatur unter der Decke reguliert werden.So wirkt der Bezug Flanell wärmend in kalten Monaten, der Bezug Satin kühlend in warmen Monaten und der Bezug Jacquard kann durch den Mix zweier Stoffarten das ganze Jahr genutzt werden.

Welches Gewicht und welche Größe sollte ich wählen?

Bei der Wahl des richtigen Gewichts für deine Gewichtsdecke, solltest du eine Decke zwischen 7-12% deines Körpergewichts wählen. Jeder Mensch reagiert unterschiedlich auf das sanfte Gewicht der Decke, solltest du dir daher unsicher sein, empfehlen wir eher das leichtere Gewicht zu wählen. Bei der Größe der Decke kommt es vor allem auf die Größe deines Bettes und deiner Körpergröße an. So sollte die Decke nicht über die Matratze hinaus hängen und im besten Fall auf der Matratze aufliegen. Solltest du über 1,85 m groß sein, solltest du auf alle Fälle die 155x220 cm Decke wählen, damit du im Winter auch keine kalten Füße bekommst ;-)

Wie kann ich die LEVIA Decke waschen?

Alle Teile der LEVIA Decke sind waschbar. Die Innendecke kannst du in der Maschine bei 30° waschen und die LEVIA Bezüge zwischen 30-60° (bitte die Pflegeanweisung im jeweiligen Bezug beachten). Bezug und Innendecke müssen jeweils getrennt gewaschen werden um eine Beschädigung der Bezüge vorzubeugen.

WHY IS THE SIZE OF THE CHAMBERS RELEVANT?

The smaller the chambers of a weighted blanket are, the better the glass beads get distributed inside the blanket. This prevents the glass beads to move around inside the blanket and causes less noise during the night.

The size of the chamber also affects how the weight of the blanket is perceived. For example, blankets with large chambers can cause uncomfortable pressure points due to the higher weight per chamber.

12 buttonholes around the weighted duvet ensure the perfect fit and hold with the duvet cover. The LEVIA duvet covers can be securely connected to the weighted duvet via matching loops on the inside of the cover.

WHY ARE BUTTONHOLES & LOOPS IMPORTANT?

The number of loops & buttonholes has an impact on the comfort and handling of the blanket. The more connection points a weighted duvet has, the less the blanket will "sag" when the body moves during the night and be less likely to slip in the cover.

The kind of "connection points" is also important. The buttonholes of the LEVIA weighted duvet are sewn directly into the duvet and can therefore be easily linked to the loops of the cover. The use of buttonholes also reduces the risk of tearing loops or damaging the blanket.

How do the covers of the LEVIA blanket differentiate?

Besides the differences in design and color, LEVIA covers differ mainly in the type of fabric. Thus, all covers are woven from 100% cotton, but the weave is different in each case. Depending on the outside temperature, the different fabrics can regulate the temperature under the blanket.

Therefore, the "cover flannel" acts warming in cold months, the "cover satin" cooling in warm months and the "cover jacquard" can be used all year round due to the mix of two types of fabrics.

What weight and size should I choose?

When choosing the right weight for your weight blanket, you should choose a blanket between 7-12% of your body weight. Every person reacts differently to the gentle weight of the blanket, so if you are unsure, we recommend choosing the lighter weight.

The size of the blanket depends on the size of your bed and your height. The blanket should not hang over the mattress and in the best case, it should rest on the mattress. If you are over 1.85 m tall, you should definitely choose the 155x220 cm blanket, so you won't get cold feet in winter ;-)

How can I wash the LEVIA blanket?

All parts of the LEVIA blanket are washable. You can machine wash the weighted duvet at 30° and the LEVIA covers between 40-60° (please follow the care instructions in the respective cover). The cover and weighted duvet must be washed separately to prevent damage to the covers.
